#ASUEngineering Professor Yanchao Zhang is collaborating with Rui Zhang, Daniel L. Chester Mid-Career Professor in Computer and Information Sciences at the University of Delaware, on a project to improve dynamic spectrum sensing, or DSS, security and privacy using artificial intelligence. DSS is an emerging technology needed to accommodate a rapidly expanding number of wireless network customers by choosing radio frequencies on the fly for devices to use. #electricalengineering #wirelessnetworks #AI

The students competed in a judged contest for awards honoring outstanding research. On World Health Day, we celebrate our #ASUEngineering electrical engineering faculty involved in developing health care technology. Associate Professor Jennifer Blain Christen has been involved in a variety of health care research, including point-of-care diagnostics and flexible neural interfaces. Professor Visar Berisha specializes in using machine learning and signal processing to understand and model signal perception, focusing on speech. One of his work's applications is to detect health problems such as Alzheimer's disease early in their progression. #healthcare #worldhealthday #health #engineering
