Institutions and Fields of Study Supported - The Phoenix Chapter supports the “best and brightest” in their scientific fields from Arizona State University, Northern Arizona and University of Arizona These fields include: Astronomy, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Computer Science, Engineering, Geology/Earth Science, Math, Medicine/Health Science/Veterinary Medicine, Physics.

Scholar Selection Process - ARCS Foundation Phoenix scholars are selected annually by their respective schools for meeting and maintaining high standards of academic excellence required by the ARCS Foundation. Phoenix Scholars receive a $7000.00 annual unrestricted award and are honored at our signature event dinner in April where they present posters, meet their sponsors, and speak about their research.

Results – ARCS Foundation Phoenix is an established 501(C)(3) and a registered charitable organization with the state of Arizona. Since it’s inception in 1977 ARCS Foundation Phoenix has provided 1,016 scholar awards for a total of $6,324,500.
