This year ARCS members welcomed a number of scholars from the three Arizona universities to their 2013 Fall Benefit at the Scottsdale Valley Field Riding and Polo Club.  The casual setting provided an ideal opportunity to visit with the scholars before luncheon was served. Janet Castner and Marge Mehagian chaired the wonderful event. 

Speakers of the day included Sarah Parker, a third year graduate student in Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Arizona, and Justin Ryan, an anatomical researcher in Biomedical Engineering at Arizona State University. 

Singers from the Award-winning Phoenix Chorale entertained with a varied program of music.  The highlight of the day was again the number of ARCS Scholar Awards contributed by members for support of the awards program for the year ahead.
