Derek Caselli - ASU Wilhoit Scholar

Derek received his B.S. in Physics and his M.S. in Solid State Electronics from Arizona State University. His research study is to develop, design, fabricate and test a new type of high efficiency solar cell utilizing semiconductor alloy nanowires.  This new type of high efficiency solar cell could potentially offer a path to less expensive solar energy.

Arianne Cease - ASU Johnston Endowment Scholar

Arianne received her B.S. in Biology from Oregon State University. Her research lies at the interface of physiology and the environment, specifically in invasive and pest species. She will develop integrated pest management strategies to help mitigate the devastating effects that these species have on huamn and ecological communities.

Logan Ahlstrom - UA Lawson Scholar

Logan received his B.S. in Biochemistry and a B.A. in Spanish Language and Literature from the University of the Pacific. His research uses novel biophysical computational techniques to expand our knowledge of proteins by setting in motion biological molecules. The goal of his work is to decipher how well static images of proteins represent their dynamic physiological state.
