Jennifer Ginther - NAU Anixter Scholar

Jennifer received her B.A. in Biology from the University of North Carolina-Wilmington and her M.S. in Biodefense from George Mason University. Her research is on the pathogenic evolution of Burkholderia pseudomallei, a soil-dweling bacterium and causative agent of meliodosis, a major health concert in varoys regions worldwide. her appointment to the Arizona Board of Regents has giver her the opportunity to work directly on promoting the extraordinary research that talk place in Arizona.

Lucy Mullin - NAU Lauber Endowment Scholar

Lucy received her B.S. in Botany and her M.A. in Biology from Humboldt State University.  Her research explores how land management and climate affect forest health and productivity, regional water yield, and carbon sequestrations in southwestern ponderosa pine forests. She is developing techniques that link stable isotope analyses of water and cellulose to dendrochronological (tree ring) analyses, a novel approach that identifies the mechanisms that underlie interactions of forests and their environment.
