We thank Dorian Voorhees, Associate Dean, Graduate College, for her assistance is planning this Zoom event. Dr. Andrew Carnie welcomed us and acted as moderator. Bruce Burgess, Director, Venture Development, Tech Launch Arizona, spoke to us about Tech Launch where students gain practical start-up company and technology commercialization experience. 
The ARCS Kunkel scholar, David Knoff, spoke to us about his research in developing novel protein-based biomaterials for advanced drug delivery and tissue engineering applications specifically for cardiovascular disease. He also told us about his experience with Tech Launch. David is looking forward to going into industry as a consultant.
